VR, AR and Educational Resources
Virtual Reality in Education
Exploiting the power of virtual reality for personalized learning is at the core of the VRCN.
We believe through rigorous research and concept design, establishing best practices as a community, drawing on perspectives of our experts in education, virtual reality and gaming that developing an end-to-end ecosystem for innovation is becoming reality. The VRCN’s network of professionals are experienced in collaboratively producing state-of-the-art simulations that give users hands-on experience and facilitate skill transfer. But the network doesn’t stop there. The more our member base increases, the more resources and expertise is within your grasp.

Online Learning Platform: EducateWorkforce™
This online learning platform called EducateWorkforce™ is the first platform specifically built for and tailored to the unique needs of 2-year institutions. It consists of both basic and advanced courses focusing on the needs of technician education and integrates web and digital solutions into existing courses. What’s more, all of CA2VES’ virtual reality modules can be accessed and interacted with via the desktop VR build through Unity3D’s scalability through WebGL.
EducateWorkforce™ is comprised of video lectures, virtual reality simulations, open texts, and interactive assessments.
Students express what they know through varied, targeted and research based assessment strategies, activities and instant learner feedback.
Virtual Reality
The Virtual Advantage
Whether in high school classrooms, 2- or 4-year institutions, or industry settings, our VR affords the user a virtual hands-on experience with tools, equipment and scenarios that may not otherwise be possible to train on.
Our virtual simulations range anywhere from using precision measurement instruments in a 2-dimensional space to highly immersive 3-dimensional safety training scenarios in a virtual advanced manufacturing facility using the Unity3D game engine.
So whether you use our existing VR modules for your classroom, partner with us to develop VR for your technician education program, or need high quality VR for proprietary training, we have the resources and experience to help you take your next virtual step.
Whether in high school classrooms, 2- or 4-year institutions, or industry settings, VR/AR affords the user a virtual hands-on experience with tools, equipment and scenarios that may not otherwise be possible to train on. Engaging the power of virtual reality in education is our goal. Check out a few of our free VR modules below.
- 2D animations and guided content
